Company Description Pelviology is a private practice based in Brisbane that provides pelvic health physiotherapy for women, men, and people of all genders. The team collaborates closely with specialists, dietitians, psychologists, and general practitioners to deliver holistic, individualized care.

Pelviology’s physiotherapists have post-graduate training in pelvic health and include Queensland’s first specialist Women’s, Men’s, and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. The clinic is known for its solid reputation, ability to co-share and escalate care when needed, and commitment to up-to-date, evidence-based management. Ongoing skilled education is a core focus to ensure the highest possible standard of clinical care.

Role Description The Pelvic Health Physiotherapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including pelvic pain, continence issues, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and sexual health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one physiotherapy sessions, and documenting clinical findings and progress notes in line with professional standards.

The role involves working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external healthcare providers to coordinate care and contribute to holistic management plans. The physiotherapist will also provide patient education, support self-management strategies, and engage in ongoing professional development activities.



This is a full-time, on-site role located in Clayfield, QLD.

Qualifications

- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist, with a recognized bachelor or master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Post-graduate training or demonstrable experience in pelvic health physiotherapy (women’s, men’s, and pelvic health), including management of pelvic floor dysfunction, continence issues, and pelvic pain.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities, including evidence-based practice, outcome measurement, and sound clinical reasoning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work sensitively with clients on intimate health issues and to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to supervision and mentorship, and participation in continuing education and case discussions.
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload efficiently, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct.
- Experience in private practice or outpatient settings, and familiarity with Medicare, private health insurance, and relevant funding models is advantageous.
- Desirable: Experience or interest in teaching pelvic health exercises, use of real-time ultrasound or biofeedback, and involvement in quality improvement or clinical research initiatives.
