About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our dynamic P&C; team.

The P&C; Business Partner is a true generalist hands-on and strategic focused member of the P&C; team. You will be joining a small team of passionate People and Culture professionals, supporting all areas of the employee lifecycle (Talent, Operations, and Learning & Development).

As a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, you will lead the management of employee relations matters while partnering with the business to implement People & Culture strategies that support organisational objectives. The role is responsible for providing practical and commercially focused advice, driving employee engagement initiatives, and contributing to the development of solutions that optimise performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of operational objectives and provide expert advice on people management decisions.
- Coach and support the business’s departmental heads in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations.
- Support the delivery of P&C; projects ensuring organisational change initiatives are properly communicated.
- Lead and manage employee relations casework, ensuring matters are handled fairly, consistently,



and in accordance with company policies, employment legislation, and best practice.
- Identify, assess, and manage people-related risks, escalating complex or high-risk matters appropriately.
- Provide expert guidance on People & Culture policies, procedures, and employment legislation, ensuring compliance with relevant workplace laws and regulations.
- Collect, analyse, and present P&C; metrics to develop strategies and solutions that provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Partner with Senior P&C; BP to guide leaders through the performance management cycle and career pathway planning processes, ensuring clear goals are communicated.
- When needed support People and Culture team to provide day-to-day operational support including preparation of employment contracts for new hires, onboarding, monitor P&C; inbox, update HR systems and workflow processing.
- Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and case management files in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive employee engagement, conflict resolution, and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
- Promote safe work practices and fulfil all workplace health and safety responsibilities in line with company policies and legislative requirements.

About You:

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Required Experience / Knowledge

- 5 – 8 years of experience in HR, preferably Business Partnering or Employee Relations
- Experience in senior stakeholder management
- Tertiary level qualifications in HR, business, psychology or equivalent.
- Ability to work in an in-office environment that is fast paced and dynamic
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial awards, with the ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice to leaders and employees.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant Awards, legislation and policy
- Experience using HRIS and Learning Management systems (LMS) is highly regarded
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive workplace matters with professionalism and discretion.
