Role Description This part-time remote People Operations Specialist role at HRZ LIFT / Novo Horizonte focuses on supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring consistent, compliant people practices across the organization. The specialist will manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and coordinating employee benefits administration.

Responsibilities include supporting HR policy implementation, responding to employee inquiries, and assisting managers with personnel management issues such as performance documentation and basic employee relations. The role will also contribute to process improvements, help ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership to support engagement, retention, and a positive employee experience. The schedule offers flexibility, with regular virtual collaboration across teams and clear expectations around responsiveness and confidentiality.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience handling daily HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.




- Knowledge of HR Policies and regulatory requirements, with the ability to help develop, interpret, and apply policies consistently.
- Experience managing Employee Advantages, including enrollment support, issue resolution, and clear communication to team members.
- Proficiency in Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate records, supporting performance processes, and handling routine employee relations matters.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills suited to a remote, part-time environment, including comfort with HRIS and collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with employees and managers, work independently, and collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.
- Relevant education such as a degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; prior experience in HR or people operations is preferred.
