An exciting opportunity has become available for a People Systems Specialist to join our People Operations team. This role will play a key part in the ongoing administration, support and continuous improvement of our people systems, with Dayforce as the initial core platform. The role is responsible for ensuring system configuration, support processes, data integrity, testing activities and user guidance materials are maintained to a high standard, enabling reliable and compliant people processes across Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Talent, Learning and related functions.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, external vendors and business stakeholders, you will provide day-to-day systems expertise, support the delivery of changes and enhancements, and help ensure employees and leaders have access to accurate, practical and effective system support.
What You'll Achieve
As the People Systems Specialist, you will contribute to the ongoing success of our people technology platforms by ensuring systems are well maintained, effectively supported and continuously improved. You'll play an important role in supporting releases, resolving system issues, maintaining governance standards and creating practical guidance materials that improve user experience and drive adoption.
You Will
- Configure, maintain and optimise assigned people systems, including Dayforce and future people platforms as required.
- Implement or oversee third party implementation of approved configuration changes across workflows, forms, business rules, security roles, permissions and system settings
- Provide Tier 2 support for system enquiries, incidents,
defects and service requests.
- Investigate and resolve configuration, access, functional and data-related issues, escalating complex matters where required.
- Support system releases through testing, validation, production readiness and post-release activities.
- Maintain data quality, user access controls and security settings in accordance with governance requirements.
- Develop and maintain Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), FAQs, knowledge articles, process documentation and WalkMe content.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, vendors and business stakeholders to support system adoption and operational effectiveness.
- Identify improvement opportunities through support trends, user feedback and system insights, contributing to ongoing optimisation initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience administering HRIS, payroll, workforce management, learning, safety or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Experience configuring workflows, forms, business rules, security roles, permissions and system settings.
- Experience providing system support, troubleshooting issues and working with vendors or implementation partners.
- Experience supporting releases, testing activities and production deployments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
- Excellent written communication skills,
particularly in the development of support materials, knowledge content and user documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for improving systems, processes and user experience.
- Experience with Dayforce, Workforce Management systems, digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe, or enterprise HR technology platforms will be highly regarded. This is aligned to the role's support responsibilities but is not a mandatory requirement.
