Dermocosmetica

Williamstown

With over2,500 clinics and 150 hospitalsacross Australia & New Zealand, we delivercutting-edge skincare solutionstrusted by dermatologists, cosmetic doctors, and aesthetic professionals.

We’re now looking for aProduct / Brand Manager - Skincare.

The Role

The Product Manager (Skincare) is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for the day-to-day marketing output that drives commercial performance across Dermocosmetica's skincare portfolio. This is a practitioner role, not a strategic leadership position. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time building tools, materials, campaigns, and content that directly support the BDM team's ability to deliver high-impact clinic calls, and that sustain engagement with accounts receiving lower-frequency sales contact.

This role operates within a B2B2C model. Our clinics and clinicians are the critical intermediary — and every piece of output from this role should be designed to earn their buy-in, build their confidence in our brands, and equip them to recommend and sell through to their clients. Candidates from predominantly B2C marketing backgrounds will not be considered. We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to win in a professional channel.

This role reports directly to the CEO and manages one direct report (Graphic Designer). It is a deliberately junior-to-mid-level appointment. Candidates with senior or managerial career trajectories who are likely to find the execution-heavy nature of this role unsatisfying are not the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

BDM Field Support Tools & Call Materials

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a library of BDM call tools: clinic leave-behinds, visual selling aids, treatment rationale cards, objection-handling reference materials, and product comparison guides.

Create and update digital and printed in-clinic assets that support BDMs in opening current accounts, growing existing ones, and re‑engaging dormant clinics.

Build product education collateral (slide decks, one‑pagers, visual protocols) that BDMs can use to demonstrate clinical value and drive confidence in prescribing and recommending our brands.

Work closely with BDMs and the Head of Sales and Head of National Key Accounts to understand what is working in the field and where materials are missing, unclear, or under‑performing — and respond with improved assets.

Ensure all field materials are current, on‑brand, compliant, and available in formats suited to both digital and in‑clinic use.

EDM & Campaign Execution for Lower‑Touch Accounts

Plan and execute a regular EDM program targeted at accounts that receive lower call frequency from the BDM team, ensuring these customers remain engaged, informed, and commercially active.

Build and manage segmented contact lists in coordination with the sales team to ensure EDM content is relevant, timely, and commercially motivated.

Write clear, clinic‑facing copy for EDMs, digital campaigns, and promotional communications that speak directly to the interests and pressures of clinic owners and clinicians.

Coordinate promotional offers, seasonal campaigns, and product launch communications to drive ordering activity from lower‑touch accounts.

Track EDM performance (open rates, click‑through, downstream sales impact) and use results to improve content, timing, and targeting.

Product & Brand Execution

Execute product launch activities for skincare portfolio additions, working in close coordination with the Sales, Medical, and Education teams.

Coordinate the production of marketing materials — working closely with the Graphic Designer direct report — to ensure assets are delivered on brief, on time, and within budget.

Manage the A&P; budget for the skincare portfolio, tracking spend and ensuring ROI‑focused allocation.

Liaise with logistics to provide input on forecasting and stock planning linked to promotional calendars.

Maintain brand compliance and ensure all content aligns with medical, regulatory, and Dermocosmetica standards.

BDM Training & Onboarding

Contribute actively to the onboarding and ongoing training of new BDMs, with specific responsibility for product knowledge and marketing strategy content.

Deliver training sessions that equip new BDMs with a thorough understanding of the skincare portfolio — clinical positioning, key ingredients, treatment protocols, competitive differentiation, and patient suitability criteria.

Ensure new BDMs understand the marketing strategy behind each brand — the target customer profile, the selling story, the promotional calendar, and how marketing activity is designed to support their conversations with clinics.

Maintain and update BDM training materials as products, campaigns, and strategies evolve, ensuring field teams are always equipped with current, accurate, and commercially effective content.

Work in close partnership with the Head of Sales and Education team to coordinate training delivery and ensure alignment between marketing messaging and field execution.

Maintain frequent, direct contact with clinic owners, clinic managers, and clinicians across Australia and New Zealand to build a deep and current understanding of their needs, challenges, and commercial pressures.

Use customer insights gathered through clinic visits, BDM debriefs, and direct conversations to inform the development of more targeted, relevant, and effective marketing tools and campaigns.

Build tactical marketing plans that are explicitly tailored to the realities of the ANZ aesthetics market — utilising strategies adapted from global frameworks, that are grounded in local customer intelligence.

Identify emerging customer needs, competitor activity, and market shifts through regular field contact and translate these into actionable recommendations for product positioning or campaign adjustment.

Represent the voice of the customer internally — ensuring marketing output reflects genuine clinic and clinician priorities, not assumptions made from behind a desk.

Participate in regular sales and marketing alignment meetings to ensure marketing output directly serves commercial priorities.

Provide the CEO with clear, concise updates on marketing activity, spend, and performance against key metrics.

Supervise and direct the Senior Graphic Designer,

providing clear briefs and managing workload to ensure quality and timeliness of creative output.

What this Role is NOT

This is not a brand strategy or marketing leadership role. There is no marketing department hierarchy above this position — the role reports to the CEO but does not carry strategic departmental authority. The expectation is high‑quality, high‑volume execution of marketing work that delivers measurable commercial impact for the BDM team and the skincare portfolio. Applicants seeking a primarily strategic, managerial, or brand‑director‑track role should not apply.

Knowledge Skill & Abilities

Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality marketing tools, materials, and campaigns in a B2B2C or clinical/professional channel context.

Strong written communication skills — able to write compelling, clear copy for healthcare professionals and adapted where needed for consumer audience.

Practical understanding of EDM platforms, segmentation, and campaign management.

Confident trainer and presenter — able to communicate product and marketing knowledge clearly to sales teams and adapt delivery style to varied audiences.

Customer‑facing confidence — comfortable building genuine relationships with clinic owners and clinicians, and skilled at drawing out the insights that make marketing more effective.

Detail‑oriented with strong project management capability — able to manage multiple briefs and deadlines simultaneously without dropping quality.

Commercially minded — understands how marketing output connects to sales activity and revenue outcomes.

Experienced in working directly with designers and briefing creative work effectively.

Comfortable in a fast‑moving, lean business where initiative and adaptability are essential.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.

Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, with a clear track record of producing tangible marketing tools, materials, and campaigns.

Prior experience in a B2B2C role where marketing's primary task was earning the buy‑in and sell‑through commitment of a professional or trade intermediary. This is non‑negotiable.

Candidates from predominantly B2C backgrounds (FMCG, retail, consumer digital) will not be considered.

Experience in cosmeceuticals, clinical skincare, medical aesthetics, pharmaceutical, dental, or allied health sectors is essential.

Based at the Coburg Head Office.
