We’re hiring an experienced Centre Director to lead a newly opened 100-place childcare centre and play a key role in shaping its growth and success.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Centre Director who is confident leading a large service, driving occupancy and enrolment growth, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining robust standards across compliance, quality and operations.

About the Role:
- Leading and developing the centre team and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Overseeing child safety, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Managing rostering and workforce planning
- Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Leading enquiries,
centre tours and enrolment conversion
- Driving sustainable occupancy growth and retention
- Monitoring budgets, wages and operational performance
- Understanding the local market and family demographics
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen the service's position within the community
- Leading continuous improvement and contributing to the service's QIP
- Working closely with the Educational Leader/2IC to ensure strong operational and educational outcomes
About You:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher approved qualification
- Experience independently managing a substantial long day care service, ideally 70+ places
- Previous experience as a Centre Director with demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong experience across compliance, occupancy, enrolments, rostering and team performance
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of sustainable centre operations
- The ability to analyse local market conditions and identify opportunities for growth
- Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to act as a Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person
