About the role

Priceline Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant - 2IC to join our team in Sunbury, VIC. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy whilst taking on a secondary leadership role. As 2IC (Second in Charge), you will work alongside the Pharmacy Manager to ensure the smooth running of our dispensary, maintaining our high standards of customer service and pharmaceutical care.

This role is integral to our commitment to providing quality healthcare services to our local community.

Key responsibilities

- Managing inventory, stock control and ordering of pharmacy products and supplies
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, answering queries and promoting product accordingly
- Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations and deputising when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant pharmacy environment
- Assisting with training and supervision of junior pharmacy staff as required
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional standards
- Administrative management for the complete operation and success of the pharmacy business

What we're looking for

- A valid Pharmacy Assistant certification or equivalent qualification recognised in Victoria
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a community pharmacy setting
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Outstanding customer service abilities and a patient-focused approach
- Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and point-of-sale software




- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to support and motivate junior staff
- Reliability and a professional approach to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Previous experience in a 2IC or supervisory capacity is highly desirable
