Independent Pricing And Regulatory Tribunal Staff Agency – Sydney NSW

The IPART Graduate Program - Graduate Analyst (Identified) is an 18-month program where you will have three rotations around the agency and have the opportunity to contribute to:

- work that supports IPART's Aboriginal Outcomes and Impact Strategy;
- projects that examine how government policies, pricing decisions and regulatory frameworks impact Aboriginal people, communities and businesses; and
- organisational initiatives that strengthen Aboriginal engagement and cultural capability across IPART.

Over the 18 months, you will be supported by an Aboriginal mentor, leaders and colleagues who are committed to helping you develop professionally while making a positive contribution to NSW.

Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by S14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

About you

We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic team-players who enjoy problem solving, are goal-oriented and wanting to excel.

You are passionate about creating positive outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities and interested in contributing to policy, regulatory and advisory work that makes a difference.

You should also have a willingness to develop your professional capability, work collaboratively and build a diverse skill set to prepare for a successful career at IPART or in the NSW public sector more generally.

Eligibility Requirements:

- A tertiary qualification.in Economics, Commerce, Business, Engineering, Science or Law or other relevant degrees.




- Completed or will complete your undergraduate or postgraduate degree within 2 years before starting work in February 2027.
- Available to commence employment on 1 February 2027.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia. or a Recent Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
- Evidence of Aboriginality. Aboriginality as defined by the Aboriginal Lands Right Act 1983 (NSW) is a person who:
- -Identifies as a person of Aboriginal descent
- -Presents documentation identifying their family’s Aboriginal descent
- -is accepted by their local Aboriginal community as a person of Aboriginal descent.

- If you progress to our assessment centre, you must be able to attend our Sydney office in-person in September.
