Business Development Manager | Earthmoving & Excavator Hire

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across the Sydney metropolitan market.

You’ll be responsible for developing long-term partnerships with civil contractors, excavation companies, demolition businesses, builders, councils and infrastructure clients while growing equipment utilisation across our expanding hire fleet.

This is a field-based role offering complete autonomy, excellent support and outstanding earning potential.

Your Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities throughout the Sydney market.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers.
- Build relationships with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 civil contractors.
- Promote our range of excavators, loaders, skid steers, rollers, dump trucks and specialist equipment.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate agreements and secure long-term hire contracts.
- Regularly visit customer sites and identify upcoming project opportunities.
- Work closely with operations to ensure exceptional customer service and equipment availability.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline through CRM.

What We're Looking For

- Previous Business Development or Sales experience within:




- Earthmoving Equipment Hire
- Construction Equipment Hire
- Strong network throughout the Sydney construction market.
- Proven ability to win recent business and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially driven with a genuine passion for the earthmoving industry.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Highly competitive nature and strong winning streak.
