About the role
We are seeking dedicated Allied Health professionals to join our team in Brunswick, VIC on a sessional basis, esp for Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist. Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients using validated clinical tools and techniques relevant to your discipline
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals and clinical evidence
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programmes that promote functional recovery and independence
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as required and document outcomes systematically
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding of treatment goals and encourage engagement in rehabilitation
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and share clinical insights
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Provide education and advice to patients and carers to support long-term health outcomes and self-management
- Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to the maintenance of clinical standards
- Adhere to all relevant legislative requirements, professional codes of conduct and organisational policies
What we're looking for
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA or/ as applicable)
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
- Proven clinical experience in delivering allied health services in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and the ability to apply current research to clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems and other relevant clinical technologies
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining clinical competence
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage caseloads effectively
- Passion for patient-centred care and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes
