About the Role:

Join Acute Allied Health Services (AAHS) and make a meaningful difference in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy care across a diverse range of acute inpatient and specialised outpatient settings. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will partner with patients, carers, referrers and other healthcare professionals to support safe, effective and evidence-based care outcomes.

This exciting Primary Contact Physiotherapy opportunity will support the delivery of extended-hours services within the Canberra Hospital Emergency Department and the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) at the Weston Creek Walk-in Clinic. Under appropriate supervision, you will play an important role in assessing and managing patients, contributing to efficient service delivery and ensuring a positive patient experience within fast-paced clinical environments.

We are seeking motivated and patient-focused physiotherapists who thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting, demonstrate solid clinical reasoning and communication skills, and are committed to delivering excellent care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires participation in a shift work roster and may include overtime and/or restricted on-call duties to support service delivery requirements.
