Genus Industrial Services, part of the GenusPlus Group (ASX), is seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to join the upcoming Koolunga Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in South Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the project delivery team in a site-based role, playing a critical part in coordinating construction activities, monitoring project progress and supporting the successful delivery of a landmark renewable energy project.

About The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be embedded within the project team on site and responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring construction schedules to support the safe and efficient delivery of the project.

Working closely with the Construction, Engineering and Commercial teams, you will coordinate daily and weekly work plans, monitor project progress, identify scheduling risks and opportunities, and provide accurate reporting to ensure the project remains on schedule and aligned with contractual and commercial objectives.

This role requires a Planner / Scheduler with experience supporting project controls, forecasting, and change management within a live construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

- Monitor daily construction progress and update project schedules to reflect site activities.

- Coordinate planning activities across Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commercial teams.





- Prepare look-ahead schedules, weekly work plans and progress reports.

- Monitor critical paths, project milestones and schedule performance.

- Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Engineers to optimise construction sequencing and resource utilisation.

- Support forecasting, resource planning and project reporting.

- Assist the Commercial team with variations, delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.

- Identify scheduling risks and recommend recovery strategies to minimise project impacts.

- Ensure project milestones and contractual deliverables are achieved.

About You

- Demonstrated experience as a Planner / Scheduler on major construction, utilities, infrastructure, mining or renewable energy projects.

- Advanced Primavera P6 experience (essential).

- Experience working in a site-based project environment.

- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls and critical path methodology.

- Commercially astute with experience supporting forecasting, contract administration, EOTs and project reporting.

- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Controls (preferred).
