Re.Group operates the Canning Vale Recycling Facility, a large-scale, complex recycling and resource recovery operation in Western Australia. The site incorporates a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics), and Green Waste operations. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead site operations, embed strong safety and performance disciplines, and deliver consistent operational and commercial outcomes.
About the role
- Lead the safe, compliant, and effective operation of the Canning Vale facility in line with Re.Group standards
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures are embedded and consistently applied
- Lead, coach, and develop site leadership and operational teams, with clear accountability and performance expectations
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including audit readiness and reporting
- Develop and deliver the site operating plan, translating business objectives into clear, measurable KPIs
- Drive operational performance, throughput, and cost efficiency through continuous improvement and disciplined execution
- Manage site budgets, cost control, and financial performance to meet agreed targets
- Maintain and actively use plant capacity and performance models to monitor efficiency and output
- Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability, uptime, and process performance
About you
- Proven experience leading complex, industrial operations with strong safety and compliance outcomes
- Background in recycling, waste processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead frontline and leadership teams in a high-throughput operational setting
- Strong operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindset
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with sound mechanical aptitude
- Financial and commercial capability, including experience managing budgets and operational cost performance
