Plant Operator

Coopers Minerals operates a mineral‑processing facility near Bacchus Marsh and is seeking a proactive, experienced Plant Operator to support the Site Operations Manager in delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations, with the view to progress to Leading Hand for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily site operations across production, maintenance, and quality control.

- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures.

- Monitor production performance and work to minimise downtime.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.

- Maintain strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.

- Conduct operational maintenance.





- Operate front end loaders/forklifts and process equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Understanding of crushing, screening, materials handling and operations.

- Proven problem‑solving skills and a commitment to a solid safety culture.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Current forklift and loader licence is advantageous.

- Full Australian work rights.
