The Role

BIC Consolidated is seeking an experienced Retail Cleaning Manager to lead the operational delivery of cleaning and integrated facilities services across a portfolio of retail environments. This senior leadership role is ideal for an experienced operations skilled with a minimum of three years' experience managing facilities services within retail environments, particularly shopping centres or large commercial assets.

As the Retail Cleaning Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across operations, client management, contractor performance, compliance, budgeting and service delivery while driving operational excellence, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the operational delivery of cleaning and integrated facilities services across a portfolio of retail and commercial assets.

- Provide leadership, coaching and support to Regional Managers, operational leaders, site supervisors and subcontractors to achieve exceptional service delivery.

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, contract retention and identification of additional service opportunities.

- Drive operational performance through regular site reviews, quality inspections,



service audits and performance reporting.

- Manage operational budgets, labour costs and financial performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.

- Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements and company standards.

- Support business growth by identifying additional works, preparing quotations and expanding integrated facilities service offerings.

- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), environmental, legislative and company policies and procedures.

- Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions and promote a proactive safety culture across all operations.

- Coordinate operational planning, workforce allocation and resource management to meet client expectations and business objectives.

- Prepare operational reports, client presentations and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and contractual reporting.

- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery, quality outcomes and operational performance.

To Be Considered for This Role, Applicants Must Have





- A minimum of three years' experience managing facilities services within retail environments, preferably shopping centres or large commercial assets.

- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site operational teams, managers and subcontractors.

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.

- Strong operational management, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Experience managing operational budgets, labour costs, contractor performance and commercial outcomes.

- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), compliance requirements and quality management systems.

- Experience managing service delivery across integrated facilities management or cleaning services.

- Ability to identify business development opportunities and prepare quotations for additional works.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and people leadership skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational management systems.

- Current Australian working rights.
