Position Summary
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll lead high-quality early learning experiences for our 3–5-year-old jarjums, with a strong emphasis on cultural identity, connection to Country, and school readiness. You will oversee educational programming, support team practice, and embed Aboriginal ways of knowing and learning throughout the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead EYLF-aligned learning programs
- Embed Aboriginal perspectives into curriculum, routines and relationships
- Mentor educators and guide best practice in early education
- Build solid relationships with families, carers and Elders
- Support holistic development and school readiness
- Monitor documentation, assessments and compliance with NQS and QIP
- Collaborate on continuous improvement and inclusive practices

Selection Criteria
Essential
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, ACECQA-approved)
- NESA accreditation (for NSW teachers)
- Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS
- Experience planning and leading early years learning programs
- Cultural capability and commitment to Aboriginal self-determination
- WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
Desirable
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicant
- Experience working in Aboriginal community-controlled settings
