The Auto Gallery is seeking a dedicated Car Detailer and Yard Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis at our Castle Hill, NSW location. This role is fundamental to maintaining the exceptional presentation standards of our vehicle inventory and ensuring our dealership operates smoothly. You will play a key part in creating the first impression that customers have of our vehicles and our business, directly contributing to sales success and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Performing comprehensive exterior and interior detailing of vehicles using industry-standard techniques and products
- Washing, polishing and waxing vehicles to achieve a showroom-ready finish
- Cleaning and vacuuming vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets and trim
- Maintaining and organising the yard, ensuring it remains clean, safe and visually appealing
- Assisting with vehicle movements within the yard and dealership premises
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies and detailing materials
- Identifying and reporting any damage or mechanical issues observed during detailing
- Supporting the wider team with general yard maintenance and housekeeping tasks
- Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times whilst working on site

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in vehicle detailing or a similar automotive environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions




- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning products, detailing techniques and best practices in automotive care
- A valid driver's license and willingness to move vehicles around the yard as required
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in automotive environments is advantageous
