We are seeking a motivated Principal Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer ready to take the next step in their career to join our team in Perth, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, or Sydney. Role Details:
Duration: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
- Lead and manage a civil engineering team to deliver high quality projects, from concept to commissioning.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations, risk assessments and technical audits.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and key project stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and senior design engineers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum +15 years of hands-on experience in civil design engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, OpenRoads Designer, etc) and MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Project, Teams, etc).
- Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.
