Better view landscapes pty ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for apprentices in both Parks and Gardens and Structural Landscaping to join our team in throughout Sydney metro area. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the landscaping and gardening industry. As an apprentice, you will work full-time alongside experienced landscapers, developing practical skills and knowledge whilst earning and learning. You will gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of landscape design, construction, and maintenance, positioning yourself for a rewarding career in the trades.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting experienced landscapers in construction and maintaining of landscaping projects
- Preparing and maintaining landscaping tools, equipment and work sites in a safe and organised manner
- Performing landscape construction tasks, including but not limited to planting, hardscaping, paving, and garden bed preparation
- Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas through regular maintenance, including pruning, mulching, weeding and irrigation management
- Following health and safety protocols and industry best practices at all times
- Learning and applying landscape design principles and techniques under supervision
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Contributing to the general upkeep and organisation of work vehicles, equipment and storage facilities

What we're looking for

- A Year 10 qualification or equivalent, with strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions
- A genuine passion for landscaping, gardening and outdoor work
- Solid attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship




- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a positive attitude
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Willingness to undertake formal apprenticeship training and obtain relevant qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening or related trades (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of plants, trees and garden design principles (desirable)
