PBE Rutherford Mining is Australia's premier cable repair specialist and a national leader in specialised electrical, mechanical and mining services. Our Emerald Cable Services Branch is the preferred supplier of electrical cable, accessories and repair services across Queensland's coal and metalliferous mining operations.

We're seeking an experienced and commercially focused Branch Manager to take ownership of our Emerald operation and lead the next stage of growth.

This is more than a workshop management role. You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, driving business growth, building customer relationships, developing your team, and ensuring safe, efficient service delivery.

About the Role

As Branch Manager, you will:

- Lead the financial, operational and commercial performance of the branch
- Drive business growth through customer engagement, sales and market development
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key mining and industrial clients
- Lead and develop a high-performing team and positive workplace culture
- Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality workshop operations
- Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities and deliver business outcomesRepresent PBE Rutherford within the local mining and industrial community

About You

You are a proven operational leader who combines strong commercial acumen with exceptional leadership capability. You understand how to build profitable customer relationships, lead teams successfully, and create a culture where people perform at their best.





To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline
- Proven leadership experience within mining services, electrical, industrial services or heavy industry
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability and performance
- A track record of growing business through customer relationships and business development
- Experience leading and developing successful teams
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
