Reardon plastering is seeking an experienced plasterer to join our team in Moonee Ponds, VIC. This full time role is responsible for the high-quality application of plaster to a variety of surfaces, ensuring the smooth finish of walls and ceilings for residential and commercial properties.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing surfaces by removing old plaster, cleaning and priming as needed
- Mixing plaster to the correct consistency and applying it evenly to walls and ceilings
- Sanding and finishing plastered surfaces to a smooth, flawless state
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the plastering process
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified plasterer
- Strong understanding of plastering techniques and the ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the best possible results
- Positive physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Hold a current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
