Production Operator - Adhesive Manufacturing
LF Licence Essential | Training Provided | Shift Opportunities Available Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with a well-established production team? We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join a busy adhesive manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Training will be completed on day shift for the first few weeks. Once trained, you may be required to work afternoon and night shifts based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely in accordance with work instructions
- Manufacture adhesive products by mixing raw materials and chemicals in large production tanks
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients to ensure product quality and consistency
- Set up and adjust equipment for production runs
- Monitor product quality and identify defects or inconsistencies
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Perform manual handling and general production duties
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials and finished products (approximately 10-20% of the role)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work setting
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience within chemical, process, or batch manufacturing highly regarded
- A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and product quality
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Ability to follow procedures and work effectively within a team environment
