We are seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to provide expert procurement support, tender management, stakeholder engagement, and contract governance services. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys partnering with internal stakeholders, driving best-practice procurement processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing and supporting procurement activities across designated business units. You will provide expert advice on tendering, quotations, contract management, purchasing processes, and procurement compliance while ensuring value-for-money outcomes are achieved.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing end-to-end tender and quotation processes
- Providing procurement advice, guidance, and training to stakeholders
- Supporting procurement exemption processes where required
- Reviewing and releasing purchase orders
- Maintaining procurement and contract registers
- Producing procurement reports and analysis to support business decisions
- Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
- Ensuring procurement activities meet governance, probity, and compliance requirements
- Supporting contract administration and supplier performance management
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement,



Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant procurement experience
- Demonstrated experience managing tender and contract processes
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to deliver procurement outcomes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- The ability to provide practical and commercially sound procurement advice

Highly Regarded

- Experience working within local government, government, or other highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and best-practice procurement principles
- Understanding of probity requirements and procurement governance frameworks
