The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager - Additives to lead the sourcing, procurement, inventory, and supply chain management of our additives portfolio, including vitamins, minerals, and premixes.

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply of key raw materials while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Nutrition, Technical, and Quality teams to support business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver supply security, cost efficiencies, and quality outcomes.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive tender processes.
- Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing opportunities to strengthen supply chain resilience and mitigate risk.
- Ensure compliance with quality, feed safety, regulatory, and biosecurity requirements, including APVMA and FeedSafe standards.
- Forecast material requirements, optimise inventory levels, and monitor commodity markets, freight, and currency impacts.
- Lead procurement activities across the business and support site teams in achieving procurement objectives.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Nutrition, Product Development, and Quality teams to align supply with customer and production requirements.





About You You are a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

You'll ideally bring

- Degree qualifications in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years' procurement experience within agriculture, animal health, stockfeed, nutrition, or a related industry.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
- Understanding of feed manufacturing, animal nutrition, or agricultural supply chains.
- Sound knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings, inventory optimisation, and supply chain improvements.
- Review supplier performance and develop action plans for strategic vendors.

- Establish strategic sourcing priorities and supplier development plans.
- Strengthen procurement reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
