Currently, We Are Looking For:
Procurement Support Officer For this position, you will support the procurement team by providing seamless administrative support to the department. You will bring your adaptable personality, strong work ethic and fabulous administration skills to a process-driven, highly skilled team.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality customer service and act as a key contact for feedback and enquiries relating to procurement policies, procedures, guidelines, and standard documentation.
- Provide purchasing, procurement, administrative, and contract management support to team members, customers, and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility by supporting a range of procurement functions with diverse objectives and outcomes.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of procurement policies, procedures, guidelines, and standard forms, including the creation, revision, and maintenance of controlled documentation in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
- Undertake procurement-related projects involving research, evaluation of alternative strategies, processes, and procedures, and the preparation of reports and recommendations.
- Manage the ordering of materials and the processing of purchase orders, work orders, field release orders,
and other procurement transactions required to support operational service delivery.
- Support the development and delivery of procurement training and induction programs, skills development frameworks, training resources, contractor meetings, and associated coordination, minute-taking, and presentation activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and organisational procurement requirements, while promoting procurement as a critical business function across all areas of the organisation.
- Demonstrate professionalism, contribute positively to team culture, and foster effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
