Overview

As our Product Manager for Operations, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are available to customers across the assigned region. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll oversee critical supply activities, support regulatory and product changes, and help keep products moving efficiently and compliantly throughout the region.

You’ll also lead the coordination and resolution of product supply challenges, including backorders, recalls, regulatory transitions, stop ships, and product or packaging changes, helping to deliver seamless outcomes for both the business and our customers.

This role is a remote-based position. Location will be subject to the successful candidate with a preference to be based on the East Coast of Australia, due to the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with stakeholders within the Division, manufacturing entities, and other company functions to implement and ensure consistency in priorities, processes, structure, and reporting milestones
- Coordinate regulatory transitions affecting APAC markets, including inventory strategy, IFU changes, customer letters, RPN tracking, and timelines
- Manage stop-ship and back-order situations across APAC, including sales messaging, status tracking, and resolution
- Coordinate product recalls across APAC markets, working closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and local commercial teams




- Lead market withdrawal reviews and assess the impact of regulatory restrictions and CAPAs on product availability in APAC
- Manage product transitions and packaging changes, including order amendments, pricing/unit-of-measure updates, and customer communications
- Coordinate product changes, including re-registration, contract updates, and market notifications
- Manage license cancellations, including stock depletion planning, regulatory deadlines, and scrap coordination
- Support market expansion and recent registration requests, including repackaging, stock builds, and pricing
- Provide Regulatory Affairs (RA) support and respond to tender information requests from APAC markets
- Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative product data that enables product managers and leadership to make more informed decisions
- Ability to travel internationally, domestically and weekends as needed

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience leading projects or initiatives, ideally spanning multiple markets or countries
- Demonstrated excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills, including the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones
- Ability to think strategically
- Prior experience in Product Management or Operations, or equivalent, in the medical device industry preferred
- Prior experience working within or supporting the APAC region, including familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks (e.g. TGA) and distributor/direct market models preferred
