CERTECH supplies ICT infrastructure products, including structured cabling, server cabinets and related solutions. We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Product & Purchasing Manager who can bring structure, initiative and strong attention to detail to this important business function.

This role offers genuine ownership. You will work closely with management, sales, operations and suppliers to ensure CERTECH maintains a competitive, relevant and commercially successful product range.

The Prospect

As Product & Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete product and purchasing lifecycle—from identifying new product opportunities and evaluating suppliers through to forecasting demand, managing stock and supporting successful product launches.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and reviewing the CERTECH product portfolio
- Driving product research and development, including identifying market opportunities, evaluating new products and coordinating product launches
- Managing supplier relationships, pricing, lead times and commercial negotiations
- Coordinating purchasing activities and placing supplier orders
- Monitoring inventory levels, product availability and stock requirements
- Reviewing sales trends and preparing purchasing and inventory forecasts
- Ensuring product data, pricing, specifications and supporting documentation remain accurate and current
- Identifying opportunities to improve product performance, supplier outcomes and purchasing processes
- Communicating product updates, availability and changes to relevant internal teams
- Managing multiple priorities while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time

About You You will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of your responsibilities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar product management, purchasing, procurement or inventory-focused role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- A methodical and logical approach to problem-solving
- Initiative and the confidence to make recommendations and drive improvements
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Confidence working with product data, pricing, spreadsheets and business systems
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Experience or knowledge of IT hardware, structured cabling, data communications products or the broader ICT industry will be highly regarded.
