Our client delivers one of Australia's largest maintenance and asset management programs for a major metropolitan water utility through a long-term joint venture alliance based in Sydney.
Supporting critical water, wastewater and network infrastructure, they provide Mechanical & Electrical, Instrumentation, Major Periodic Maintenance and Facility Management services across a complex asset portfolio.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join the executive leadership team.
Position
Reporting to the Program Director, this leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance and P&L; management of a large-scale maintenance and facilities management business.
Leading multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical & Electrical, Instrumentation, Major Periodic Maintenance and Facility Management, you will drive safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across a large-scale maintenance and asset management program.
- Lead multidisciplinary maintenance, M&E;, instrumentation and facilities management teams.
- Drive operational performance, commercial outcomes and full P&L; accountability.
- Develop maintenance strategies that improve asset reliability and operational efficiency.
- Lead planning,
scheduling and workforce performance across a geographically dispersed team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and key stakeholders.
- Deliver contractual KPIs, financial targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and develop high-performing operational leaders.
About You
- Proven leadership experience managing large maintenance or service delivery operations within the water, utilities, infrastructure, transport, energy or mining sectors.
- Solid commercial acumen with responsibility for P&L;, budgets and operational performance.
- Experience leading large maintenance contracts, asset management or facilities management programs.
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Passion for safety, operational excellence and developing high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business or a related discipline are desirable.
