KAHLON & BHULLAR PTY LTD We are seeking an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, service, maintain, and repair a variety of light motor vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying mechanical faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.

This role is suited to an individual who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced workshop setting. Career progression within a reputable automotive workshop. A workplace that values teamwork, safety, integrity, and high-quality workmanship. Task & responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair petrol engines and a variety of mechanical and electrical components in light motor vehicles.

Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Diagnose mechanical faults using specialised diagnostic equipment and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Repair and maintain vehicle systems, including transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, cooling systems, and driveline components.

Replace or repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts using appropriate workshop tools and equipment. Perform engine tuning, adjustments,



and component testing to optimise vehicle performance and reliability. Carry out road tests and final quality inspections to verify that repairs have been completed to manufacturer and industry standards.

Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and job reports. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures and industry regulations. Maintain a clean, organised, and secure workshop while using equipment and tools responsibly.

Qualification & experience Relevant automotive qualification must be completed. Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic. Strong knowledge of petrol engines and light vehicle mechanical systems.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment effectively. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Registration or licensing may be required.
