The Role
The APS 6 Administration Team Leader is a newly established position within Headquarters Forces Command that plays a key role in supporting the Commander Forces Command and Executive team. The position is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality secretariat support to enable the effective planning, administration and conduct of the Army Training Board.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing secretariat services for the Army Training Board, including coordination of agendas, papers, records of decision and follow-up actions.
- Supporting the Commander Forces Command and Executive by ensuring governance processes and board activities are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Representing Headquarters Forces Command through attendance and support at Senior Army Boards, committees and subordinate working groups.
- Leading and supervising a small team responsible for Information and Records Management functions within a high-tempo headquarters environment.
- Ensuring records and information are managed in accordance with Defence policies, governance requirements and legislative obligations.
- Promoting effective administration, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement across board and records management processes.
