Due to continued growth within our new division, Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM) is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent operating on an 8/6 Roster FIFO basis from Perth. This role offers long-term stability and a genuinely fulfilling career opportunity.
Here’s what awaits you
Lead end-to-end delivery of surface mining activities from planning through to operational execution
Manage scope, schedule, budget and risk to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time
Coordinate and maximise the effectiveness of personnel, equipment and resources
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
Provide structured reporting, governance and commercial oversight across multiple workstreams
Identify areas for improvement, assess training requirements and provide coaching and development opportunities for staff To thrive in this role you will need:
Strong understanding of surface mining operations and project lifecycles
Demonstrated capability in influencing support functions to be able to deliver the best result.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced operational environments
Strong risk management and problem-solving skillsQualifications:
Strong knowledge of the Regulation/Legislation
S26 Statutory certification.
Unrestricted Quarry Manager ticket – desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
