About the Role

As a Production Systems Estimator, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the company's estimating systems while supporting the production estimating function. Working primarily within DataBuild, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining macros, setting up and managing estimating elements, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the estimating database. You will collaborate closely with the estimating, drafting, and construction teams to improve efficiencies, streamline workflows, and support the delivery of accurate project costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimise DataBuild macros and estimating systems.
- Set up and manage estimating elements, templates, and system configurations within DataBuild.




- Support the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the estimating database, including supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing production estimates when required.
- Collaborate with drafting, construction, and project coordination teams to ensure estimating systems align with project requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and system efficiencies.

About You
- 2+ years of experience within residential homebuilding, with exposure to estimating systems or production estimating.
- Advanced proficiency in DataBuild
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and estimating principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
