At Redland Pharmaceuticals, we're looking for someone who wants more than another factory job.

We're looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader (Leading Hand) who will lead from the front. You'll spend around 90% of your day on the tools operating equipment alongside your team while keeping production moving, completing Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), maintaining quality standards and ensuring every batch is manufactured safely and efficiently.

This is not a clipboard role. It's a leadership role earned through example.

What you'll do

- Lead a team of 4–6 operators.
- Operate filling, capping and labelling equipment.
- Operate mixing tanks, shear mixers, UHT and chilling equipment.
- Complete BMRs accurately throughout production.
- Perform in-process quality checks.
- Complete line clearances.
- Train new staff.
- Keep production flowing and solve problems before they become bottlenecks.

Position Purpose

Run the production floor on behalf of the Production Manager by leading operators, maintaining production output,



ensuring GMP documentation is completed correctly and driving a culture of ownership, safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead daily production activities for a team of 4–6.

· Maintain production targets and minimise downtime.

· Complete Batch Manufacturing Records.

· Perform in-process quality checks.

· Complete line clearances.

· Train and mentor operators.

· Escalate issues appropriately.

· Maintain GMP, food safety and housekeeping standards.

· Assist with changeovers and equipment setup.

· Promote continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like (90 Days)

30 Days:

- Understand products, equipment and GMP systems.
- Complete BMRs accurately.
- Build credibility with the team.

60 Days:
- Independently lead production shifts.
- Reduce downtime and improve workflow.
- Train recent operators confidently.

90 Days:
- Production Manager can confidently delegate day-to-day floor leadership.
- Production runs smoothly with minimal intervention.
- Team respects your leadership and standards.
