About the Role

Harris Smokehouse is looking for a full-time Production Worker to work on a production line — including a cryovac machine — at our state-of-the-art Mount Barker facility. This hands-on role is key to keeping quality and output on track, and calls for someone who takes safety, teamwork and attention to detail seriously.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating and managing the cryovac production line safely and efficiently
- Portioning, packaging and preparing seafood products for distribution, meeting daily and weekly production targets
- Monitoring line performance, running quality checks and reporting defects
- Routine cleaning, basic maintenance, troubleshooting and close-down procedures
- Maintaining accurate production records and clear communication with the team
- Following food safety (HACCP) and WHS procedures at all times
- Supporting other production lines when needed

What We're Looking For





- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
- A reliable team player who can also work independently
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Comfortable working in a cold and wet workplace
- Understanding of, or willingness to follow, HACCP and WHS procedures
- Punctual, hardworking and reliable.
