Background

Gains5 Tech Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Productivity Analyst to support its Industrial Engineering, process improvement and analytics services. This role focuses on helping clients embrace process excellence, improve productivity and translate data into actionable insights through use of tools and methodologies like Lean, MOST and Power BI.

The successful candidate will be confident in working across both business and technical teams, with a strong ability to grasp business operations, collect and analyse data, conduct studies, build data models and provide guidance to clients.

Role: Productivity Analyst

Position Type: Full Time

Base Location: Sydney, NSW

Reporting To: Company Director

Responsibilities:

· Carry out assigned duties under general direction of Company Director. Responsibilities may vary according to directions and needs of the business or client side reporting manager.

· Assist colleagues and Company clients in selling, planning and delivering digital transformation, reporting & data analytics, continuous improvement & productivity studies, facilities layout & workforce planning, business analysis and project management services, including taking individual ownership where necessary or as directed.

· Map business process flows using Visio or similar software. Identify process improvement opportunities applying Lean, Six Sigma and Agile concepts to provide solutions for improvement and implement them.

· Use Maynard MOST methodology, video analysis and other work measurement techniques to assess productivity and optimise workforce requirements and planning.

· Collect, validate and interrogate operational and workforce data using advanced Excel and SQL, producing reliable management information for decision-making.





· Provide data analysis and reporting services using expert knowledge of agri-business, manufacturing, retail & financial services sectors, demonstrating competency and expertise in use of software and IT applications such as:

- Quantitative analysis and business case development using MS Office Suite with advanced Excel & SQL
- Video capture and analysis of Work Breakdown Structures and activity
- Reports and dashboard development using Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, etc.

· Provide business support when required, including conducting meetings, gaining insights into current and future state of requirements / processes and preparing supporting documentation.

· Support end-to-end implementation of approved process changes, preparing revised procedures, work instructions and implementation plans to ensure smooth operational transformation.

· Be responsible and accountable for own work to be performed within established guidelines or as per detailed instructions provided, exercising judgment and initiative within the range of related skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

· Provide operational support in manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environments.

· Communicate and engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders.

· Support pre-sales, marketing and customer service activities including the use of CRM.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Work From Home (WFH) is discretionary subject to Company requirement – Assume 100% work is required to be done from company or client site.





· Present the Company in a positive light with Clients, at trade shows and industry events.

· Help maintain a dynamic, conducive, harmonious and safe work environment at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering degree or a Business Studies / Data Analytics / Computer Science or Engineering degree or a related graduate / post-graduate degree

· 1-3 years of relevant work experience

· Advanced user knowledge in MS Office Suite including Excel, MS Visio, MS Project and Tableau / Power BI

· Competency in work measurement using time-study techniques, with certification or knowledge of Maynard MOST methodology and Lean practice.

· Can-Do attitude with pleasant personality with robust communication and people skills with ability to present and communicate effectively.

· Agree to take any mandatory or sector specific vaccinations (eg. Q-fever vaccine for Meat & Livestock projects)

· Driver’s license and experience, with driving privilege in Australia.

· Willingness to travel to and work from remote worksites around Australia, for duration of the project.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
