Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an additional Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its thriving Financial Lines & Professional Indemnity team.

Working alongside two highly respected Principals, you'll join a collaborative Financial Lines team recognised for its technical excellence and client-focused approach. You'll gain exposure to a sophisticated mix of litigation, advisory and risk management work, acting for leading insurers and their insureds across a diverse range of industries.

Your work will include advising and acting on matters involving:

- Defending claims against directors, officers and companies, together with professionals across the legal, financial services, construction, property, healthcare and local government sectors.
- Professional indemnity matters involving architects, engineers, building surveyors, conveyancers, accountants, financial planners and mortgage brokers.




- Directors' & Officers' Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Contract Works and Defamation claims.
- Construction-sector professional indemnity matters and financial lines disputes.
- Risk management advice, including reviews of commercial contracts and insurance policy wordings.
- Policy coverage advice and strategic advisory work for insurer clients.

Beyond litigation, you'll also have the chance to provide strategic risk management advice, review commercial contracts and policy wordings, and work directly with sophisticated insurer clients to help manage risk before disputes arise. This growing team is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with specialist defendant insurance experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

- A minimum of 5 years' PAE.
- A background from a specialist insurance, mid-tier or top-tier firm, or in-house with an insurer.
- Strong experience defending professional indemnity and/or financial lines claims.
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in mentoring junior lawyers and building long-term client relationships.
