We are looking for someone pretty special for this role, someone who genuinely loves working with children, understands the dynamics of working within a family home, and has the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
This is a hands-on role. No two days will necessarily look exactly the same, so we are looking for someone who can confidently go with the flow, take initiative and become a reliable and trusted part of the family's everyday life.

Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm The role will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to part-time employment for the right candidate.
Consistency is really important to both Ohana and the family, so we are looking for someone who can commit to the ongoing roster and is interested in building a longer-term relationship with the family.
What the Role Looks Like

- Laundry and organisation of children's belongings
- Family-related errands and household organisation
- Helping keep the household running smoothly throughout the week
- Working alongside the parents to provide consistency and support within their family routine
The family also love to travel, so the ability and willingness to travel with them when required is an important part of this position.
Who We're Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone with previous nannying experience who can demonstrate a high level of ability in caring for children, adapting to the changing needs of a busy family and developing strong interpersonal relationships.
The right person will be:
- Experienced and confident in a professional nannying role
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about working with children
- Able to build strong, genuine and trusting relationships with children and families

- Organised and capable of balancing hands-on childcare with household responsibilities
- A confident communicator who can work collaboratively with parents
- Comfortable driving and transporting children
- Willing and able to travel with the family when required
- Professional and respectful of the trust, privacy and boundaries that come with working within someone's home
Above all, we are looking for someone who understands that professional nannying is about much more than simply supervising children. It's about connection, consistency, trust and becoming a safe and reliable person in a child's world.
