Project Manager & Consultant | Sydney | In office (3 Days with Client & 2 Days in Office)

If you've spent years in consulting and found yourself wanting more ownership, or you're a PM who's quietly been doing the consulting work anyway, this one's for you.

You'll be embedded with a client running a genuinely varied portfolio, including facilities, technology and systems upgrades, operational transformation, and community program delivery. The kind of work where no two weeks look the same, and you're expected to bring more than a project plan to the table.

Day to day, you'll be doing things like:

- Running project plans, timelines and budgets across multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Sitting in rooms with senior leaders and helping them think through what they actually need, not just executing on a brief but shaping it
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions to align teams and surface blockers early.
- Producing clear, concise reporting and recommendations for executive audiences
- Identifying risks and issues before they become problems and driving practical solutions
- Building relationships across a diverse organisation and adapting your style to the environment

Two days in the city office, three days on the client site. You'll have a strong delivery framework and senior support behind you, but this client needs someone who already knows how to back themselves.

What you'll bring

- 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally from a consulting firm




- The ability to switch between delivery mode and advisory mode in the same week
- Strong communication and influencing skills at the senior stakeholder level
- A proactive and growth mindset, you don't wait to be told, you figure it out
- Adaptability, as this portfolio is live and evolving, you'll need to move with it
- Service and regulated industry experience are bonuses, but your consulting instinct and delivery discipline matter more
