PC Pitstop is a multi-award-winning IT partner that's been looking after Port Macquarie businesses since 1998. We're growing our managed-services book (ProactiveCare) and we're ready to hand the Microsoft 365 and cloud side to someone who'll make it their own.

This is a rare thing for a regional role: real ownership, real autonomy, and a direct line to the Managing Director, who'll back you, invest in your certifications, and grow the role (and the hours) with you.

About the role

You'll take day-to-day ownership of Microsoft 365 Business environments across a portfolio of small business clients (typically 5 to 50 users), covering proactive administration, endpoint management, and steadily maturing their security posture. You'll run the everyday cloud work independently, elevate genuinely hard stuff to the MD, and grow into our security and Essential Eight capability with proper support behind you. A front-line team handles general day-to-day helpdesk, so your focus stays on the cloud, identity and security work rather than first‑line tickets.

This is a growth role, not a finished‑expert requirement. We're looking for a strong foundation and real appetite, not the full ticket on day one.

What you'll do

- Administer and support client Microsoft 365 Business tenants:



Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender for Business
- Manage identity and access in Microsoft Entra ID: MFA, conditional access, user lifecycle
- Handle endpoint management in Microsoft Intune: configuration and compliance policies, app deployment, security baselines
- Deploy and maintain Windows Autopilot for zero‑touch device provisioning
- Help mature clients' security against the ACSC Essential Eight using Microsoft-native controls (with training and support as you grow into this)
- Onboard and offboard users, optimise licensing, and run the occasional end‑user training session
- Provide Level 2 support across M365, Entra and Intune; elevate complex L3 issues to the MD
- Keep our documentation sharp in IT Glue, and contribute to proactive monitoring and managed‑services reporting
- Work day-to-day across our stack: Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, IT Glue and Microsoft 365

About you

You'll need:

- 2 to 3+ years hands‑on IT support in an MSP or internal IT team, including genuine Microsoft 365 administration, not just password resets
- Real comfort in the M365 admin centres, Entra ID and Intune (you've configured things, not just watched)
- Solid Windows 11 troubleshooting, and some PowerShell, or a genuine keenness to learn it
- Appetite to grow into cloud security and Essential Eight work




- The ability to explain security and tech to a small business owner without the jargon
- Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for occasional onsite visits around Port Macquarie - however we do have company vehicles generally for use
- You work well independently and like owning your patch
- A tight‑team, sleeves‑up attitude: your focus is the Microsoft 365 and security work, but when it's busy or someone's away, you pitch in on general support and projects like everyone here does. No ivory towers.

Nice to have:

- Microsoft certifications (MS-102 Administrator, SC-300 Identity & Access, or MD-102 Endpoint Administrator), or actively working toward them
- Familiarity with the ACSC Essential Eight
- Exposure to PSA/RMM tooling (Autotask, Datto or similar)
- Google Workspace experience
