Optimum SilOz is an Australian owned family business that prides itself on supplying Australian made grain storage and handling solutions to the agriculture industry.

Our recently expanded business is seeking experienced welders and trade qualified boilermakers to join our qualified and supportive team in Albury, NSW.

This is a full time position working Monday-Friday with typical hours 6.24am - 2.30pm with overtime available on a needs basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a production operator you will focus on the production requirements of the Albury site. This position will see you use a wide variety of equipment and machines to achieve quality production in a safe and efficient manner.

Demonstrates a high commitment to safety as a core value

Undertakes work on corrective actions leading to on time closeouts

Conducts pre task risk assessments for new and non-standard tasks

Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner

Works to assigned production orders as directed by leading hand or production team

Reads, interprets and produces to the supplied drawings for each production order

Confirms production quality routinely during each production batch





Maintains housekeeping standards ensuring work areas are clean and free of hazards

Willing to coach and mentor peers

Ability to work under minimal supervision and also as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS

Have either a trade qualification (Cert III Engineering - Fabrication) or 3 years relevant experience.

This position will suit someone who has proficient welding skills and experience.
