About the Role





As a Qualified Waterproofer / Leading Hand, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality remedial waterproofing projects from start to finish.

This is a hands-on role, not just a supervisory position. You will be actively involved in carrying out waterproofing works alongside your team while also leading projects, coordinating daily site activities and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

You will work on a variety of projects ranging from small remedial repairs through to large-scale waterproofing and concrete remediation works across South East Queensland.

The successful applicant will be trusted to work independently, manage jobs from commencement through to completion, lead small crews where required, communicate professionally with clients and supervisors, and ensure every project reflects the high standards that Remedial Property Solutions is known for.

Key Responsibilities

- Install liquid-applied waterproofing systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Manage remedial waterproofing projects from preparation through to completion.
- Lead and supervise small site teams.
- Plan daily activities and effectively delegate tasks.
- Prepare substrates including grinding, pressure cleaning and removal of existing coatings.
- Complete waterproofing works to balconies, rooftops, planter boxes, podiums, retaining walls and other remedial applications.
- Install complete waterproofing systems
- Carry out polyurethane joint sealing and caulking.
- Complete remedial concrete repair works where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standard.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will have:

- Qualified Waterproofer.
- Proven experience in remedial waterproofing.
- A broad knowledge of remedial waterproofing systems and repair methodologies.




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical, long-term waterproofing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and their correct application.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage a job from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of waterproofing processes with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience preparing substrates, including removal of existing coatings through grinding and mechanical preparation.
- Experience with polyurethane joint sealing and caulking.
- Current driver's licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Physically fit, reliable and hardworking.
- A positive attitude with pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Solid work ethic and willingness to be part of a growing team.

Highly Regarded

The following experience would be an advantage:

- Experience in the installation of bonded sand and cement screeds.
- Tiling experience.
- Concrete repair experience.
- Crack injection experience.
- Experience working on strata and remedial construction projects.
