About the role

We are seeking a Retail Store Assistant to join our team at our Shepparton VIC location. This is a part-time position that offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment where you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining our store to the highest standards. As a Retail Store Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers have a pleasant shopping experience whilst supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable assistance with product selection and enquiries
- Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments




- Maintaining store displays, ensuring products are well-presented, properly priced and neatly arranged
- Restocking shelves and managing inventory levels throughout the store
- Assisting with stock receipt, unpacking and pricing of new merchandise
- Keeping the store clean, tidy and organised at all times
- Supporting promotions and special events as required
- Following health and safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations

What we're looking for

- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable with at least 1 to 2 years related experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately, particularly when handling transactions and stock
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Physical fitness and capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate items
- Reliability and punctuality with a flexible approach to part time working
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (training provided)
- Available to work weekend shifts
