We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and oversee the construction delivery of a variety of projects across Adelaide. Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in managing subcontractors and suppliers, keeping construction programs on track, implementing procurement strategy, and maintaining quality and Health & Safety standards on every site.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the Project Manager with planning and programming tasks
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and contractors
- Monitoring construction crew and subcontractor performance against project estimates
- Identifying, reporting, and mitigating performance issues as they arise
- Tracking and controlling project costs throughout delivery
- Determining appropriate construction methods, materials, and quality standards
- Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, and construction procedures
- Coordinating site labour and overseeing delivery of materials, plant, and equipment




- Developing detailed schedules to coordinate on-site activities
- Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to estimate overall project costs
- Producing detailed cost plans and estimates to support budget control
- Tracking design changes, assessing their cost impact, and negotiating resulting variations

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or a related field
- 2 years' experience in field and project planning
- Strong computer literacy and a solid understanding of designs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent project management and supervision skills
- Strong organisational, time management, leadership, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
