An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Manager to join a leading national builder delivering one of Tasmania's largest and most technically advanced industrial developments.

Based full-time on site in Tasmania, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a landmark project. This is a rare opportunity to work on a complex, large-scale development alongside an experienced leadership team within a business renowned for delivering major projects across Australia.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take ownership of key aspects of the project, ensuring programme, commercial, safety and quality objectives are achieved while leading high-performing project teams and subcontractors.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a technically challenging project with significant stakeholder engagement, providing excellent long-term career progression within a growing national contractor.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the successful delivery of major construction packages from commencement through to completion.
- Lead project teams, engineers and subcontractors to achieve programme, cost, quality and safety objectives.
- Drive project planning, sequencing and construction methodology.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, procurement and commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and company standards.




- Mentor and develop engineers and project team members.
- Contribute to project reporting and executive updates.

About You You will be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex construction projects for tier one or tier two contractors.

You will ideally possess

- Experience delivering large-scale industrial, manufacturing, data centre, commercial, infrastructure or major building projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, procurement and programme.
- A team-oriented leadership style and the ability to build high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
