Program Controls Lead / Master Scheduler

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role responsible for bringing structure, governance and control to large-scale technology transformation programs.

Working alongside Project Managers, Solution Architects, Engineers and executive stakeholders, you will own the integrated master schedule, ensuring multiple concurrent projects remain aligned, dependencies are managed, milestones are achieved and delivery risks are identified early.

This is not a people management role . Instead, we're looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on project controls environment and is passionate about planning, scheduling and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and govern integrated master schedules across multiple technology projects.
- Consolidate individual project plans into a single program-level delivery roadmap.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, critical paths and interdependencies.
- Identify scheduling conflicts, delivery risks and resource constraints before they impact project outcomes.




- Work closely with Project Managers and technical delivery teams to ensure projects remain on track.
- Produce executive-level reporting, dashboards and delivery updates.
- Support governance forums by providing accurate schedule reporting and delivery insights.
- Coordinate vendor timelines and ensure third-party deliverables align with program objectives.
- Track project baselines, monitor progress against plan and manage approved schedule changes.
- Support cutover, migration and transition planning for major technology implementations.
- Maintain planning standards and promote consistent project management practices across the organisation.

About You You'll be a highly organized project qualified who enjoys bringing clarity and structure to complex delivery environments.

You'll possess exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in Program Controls, PMO, Project Planning or Master Scheduling.
- Robust background supporting complex IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity or digital transformation projects.




- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Project, Project Online or similar scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery frameworks and PMO methodologies.
- Experience managing integrated project schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical project information and translate it into meaningful executive reporting.
- Experience managing project dependencies, RAID logs, milestones and delivery reporting.
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience

- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Systems Integrator or Technology Consultancy.
- Exposure to cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity or digital transformation programs.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
