About the Role

To manage the Elgas and BOC Agent and Distributor network in the Location, identifying synergies and opportunities to drive service improvements, deliver productivity savings, grow market share and sales, ensure safety and compliance, and support the Area Managers to execute local Area strategies.

Your Duties Will Include:

Working with Area Managers to drive Agent & Distributor engagement, and implement local strategies with all Agents & Distributors in their Areas

Completing safety & compliance audits at all Agents & Distributors, at least annually, and supporting the Agents & Distributors with any corrective actions

Training Agents & Distributors on products and applications, sales and inventory management processes, and safety and compliance

Growing Linde’s market share and sales through the Agents & Distributors channel

Optimising the channel where we have both BOC and Elgas Agents & Distributors in the same area, as appropriate

Identify and win suitable opposition Agent & Distributor opportunities





Identify problem Agent & Distributor relationships and work with local Area Manager to improve/remove

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the restructure of the Agent & Distributor network and/or the consolidation of Agency into the local Linde depot to drive productivity savings, where appropriate

Skills

Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level

Moreover, you have proven ability to work well under pressure

You own excellent oral and written communication in dealing with all levels in the Supply Chain

Takes ownership of the processes & tasks engaged

Ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines
