Salary/Level: Level 3, $89,464 - $96,043 p.a. plus Superannuation

Tenure: 12 months Fixed-term, Full-time (with the possibility of extension or permanency)

Location: South Perth (Perth Zoo), Western Australia

Project Officer – Minor Works provides co-ordination for the planning, development and implementation of small to medium projects associated with minor works program and other projects as requested.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating and delivering small to medium-scale maintenance, infrastructure or minor works projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
2. Experience in preparing procurement documentation, developing project scopes,



specifications and professional services briefs, and supporting procurement processes in accordance with organisational policies and government procurement requirements.
3. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and monitor consultants, contractors and service providers, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, project specifications, workplace health and safety obligations, and agreed timeframes.
4. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships, manage competing priorities, provide high-quality customer service, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
