South Australia Police Job reference: 845211 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Term full-time vacancy up to 12 months The Information, Systems and Technology (IS&T;) Service supports the frontline policing and corporate operations of SAPOL through the provision of ICT infrastructure and communication platforms, operational software applications, and support services. The Service is responsible for driving the ongoing evolution of ICT capability across SAPOL, through the delivery of high-quality ICT change programs.

The Service is structured across four core pillars: Strategy, Innovation and Engagement; Program Delivery; Operational Services; and Security and Assurance. The Service extends from traditional ICT services to encompass a specialist radio and technology capability, including laser and radar calibration services. The IS&T; Service is responsible for the provision of IT, cyber security and communications services and is therefore vital to the achievement of SAPOL's core objectives.

In consultation with its customers, IS&T; plans, delivers, secures and supports new and existing technology services.

The Project

Officer supports the Cyber Security Program and Security Portfolios by providing high-level administrative, governance and business support that contributes to the effective delivery of information security priorities and outcomes. The role works across a diverse range of activities, undertaking research, analysis, reporting, executive support and stakeholder engagement, while supporting informed decision-making, strong governance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.



Through the provision of accurate, timely and proactive support, the position enables the efficient operation of the Cyber Security Program and Security Portfolios and contributes to the achievement of organizational objectives.

Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.

The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.

Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.

The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Salary ASO4 - $82,212 - $86,180 per annum.
