Join a project that will help strengthen the delivery and management of assistive technology services across South Western Sydney Local Health District. As the Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Get My Assistive Technology (GMAT) IT system across Equipment Loan Pools (ELPs), helping to improve processes, enhance service delivery and support positive outcomes for clients and clinicians.
- Lead a range of administrative and project support activities to facilitate the successful implementation of the GMAT IT system across SWSLHD Equipment Loan Pools.
- Support key project activities may include storeroom organisation, inventory management, barcoding and IT system installation at each ELP.
- Assist in training and support to prescribers of ELP equipment and ELP officers and establish reporting suites for SWSLHD ELPs.
- Contribute to the establishment of reporting suites to support effective management and oversight of Equipment Loan Pool services.
- Be part of a collaborative project that will enhance the accessibility and management of assistive technology services across the District.

- Preparing written correspondence such as self-initiated briefs and responses, reports and other written materials
- Assisting with the development and implementation of procedures to ensure consistent delivery of quality services to clients and prescribers.
Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the current systems and approaches utilised for ELP equipment prescription/provision
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft accurate and concise reports, documents, and correspondence.
- Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, and various types of data, and the ability to bring a creative approach to solve problems
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
