As a critical team member, you will be at the heart of our services function in the Torres Strait, Northern Peninsula Area, and remote Aboriginal communities. Operating in 31 retail stores across remote locations, CEQ ensures access to quality fresh food, groceries, and essential services like fuel, gas, and ATM facilities.

Summary
The Store Support Officer will be responsible for the administrative and operational aspects of the store to ensure business continuity of the store under the guidance of the Store Support Manager.
Partnering with a cross-cultural, geographically dispersed team from Cairns to Cape York Peninsula, Gulf of Carpentaria, North Queensland, and the Torres Strait Islands, the Management will work in alignment with the CEQ vision and values and play an integral role in ensuring the ongoing success and reputation of CEQ as an employer of choice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (other duties may be assigned)
- Provide administration support for the GM Operations & Retail Manager.
- Conduct research and investigations as required, interrogating cash variances to complete investigations in a timely and confidential manner.
- Interpret the procurement management system to ensure data integrity.
- Provide store reports as needed with a focus towards inventory integrity.
- Collect and report on customer engagement data from in-store kiosks.
- Understanding rostering compliance to support the store support manager.
- Assist with stocktakes and stocktake reports.
- Assist with fulfilment of store non stock orders.
- Conduct research on current and future ranging in stores with a focus towards healthier sustainable business model.
- Food safety analysis on takeaway/cafe stores which will include systems and menus working with Merchandise team.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety.
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with all team members with focus towards engagement and communication between store teams and support office.
- Travel to CEQ stores on occasion. This may involve assisting with daily store operations or other projects and may extend outside normal working hours.
- Other duties may be assigned as per business requirements.
